Here are some comments we have received about the
Version 4 Update for EasyBook from the Ascot Hotel, Blackpool.

|
| " We
welcome the latest EasyBook
Update to Version 4. A
well designed upgrade, the daily housekeeping report has
been usefully changed so that we can now use this for the
days breakfast preparation, and room cleaning.
Previously we had to manually prepare our lists from
the system, but this can now be done at the click of a
button, a very useful time saver. Full
VAT breakdown and is now provided with supporting reports,
essential if you need to create VAT accounts if you are a
VAT registered hotel. The system can now be programmed
with specific tariffs between specified dates and for
specified rooms. This is handy if you want to avoid any confusion amongst your
staff, or need greater control over which tariffs you wish
to charge. Saving
of the invoice number against the booking is a useful audit
control, and very handy if you need to reproduce a previous
invoice, i.e. when the client rings 2 months later for a
copy of their bill! The
added book mark for arrival and departure day means that we
can now produce our confirmation letters showing the day of
the week as well as the date, making things just that little
bit clearer for the customer, and no more excuses for
arriving on the wrong date! We can now also update
rooms as closed, if we need to take a room out of service
for some reason. As usual the best part of the system
is that you can mix and match.
In other words if you feel a feature isn’t
necessary or too restrictive for your requirements you
don’t have to use it.
Its still easy to use EasyBook just in accordance
with your own requirements. We
now look forward to the introduction of the internet module,
and hopefully a few more regular updates of EasyBook.
